What should each team realistically aim for in the Six Nations? Part Two Italy and Scotland.

With less than a month to go until the Six Nations kicks off, here’s My Ignorant Opinion on what Italy and Scotland should expect of themselves.

Last week I talked about how England and France shouldn’t expect too much after regime changes and disappointing world cup campaigns. Arguing both COULD win the Six Nations, but it is unlikely and other priorities should come first. This week I look at the what the two teams most often at the bottom of the table should aim for this year – Italy and Scotland. Red Bull Crashed Ice full of thrills in Munich

Munich plays host to one of the most thrilling sporting events, here’s why you should be watching!

If you haven’t seen it yet, I thoroughly recommend you take a look at Ice Cross Downhill, it is well worth a watch. It is one of the single most exciting sports I have ever seen. UFC 197 shaping up to be an instant classic

With McGregor vs Dos Anjos and Holm vs Tate, could UFC 197 be one of the biggest cards ever?

After beating Jose Aldo in a record 13 seconds, there was speculation that Conor McGregor was to move up a weight class to fight at 155lbs. The smack talking fighter has gained something of a cult following, with fans intoxicated by his loud taunting, flashy style and knockout power. His move to 155lbs has now been confirmed as the story was leaked online. Continue reading “UFC 197 shaping up to be an instant classic”

The UFC has finally announced that Holly Holm’s next opponent will NOT be Ronda Rousey! The pair are set to rematch at UFC 200, which will be one of the biggest rematches in MMA history after Holm created quite the upset in not only beating Rousey, but utterly dismantling her. What should each team realistically aim for in the Six Nations? Part One England and France.

With the Six Nations now only a month away each team will want to do as well as possible – but what should they hope for realistically?

February 6th is now only a month away and that means this year Six Nations kicks off with France vs Italy at the Stade de France.  After an embarrassing World Cup for much of the northern hemisphere (cough…England…cough) what should each Six Nations country/supporters/media expect of their teams in the coming tournament? Obviously every player and supporter wants their team to win the whole tournament, but here’s My Ignorant Opinion on what should be some more realistic aims for each of the team. Part One focuses on England and France: Continue reading “What should each team realistically aim for in the Six Nations? Part One England and France.”

England Should Embrace Women’s Sport

England as a nation need to try in 2016 to follow women’s sport – here’s the reasons why.

The New Year is usually followed by hastily broken resolutions and attempts at trying new things or outlooks that gradually fade away into memory. However, one new outlook England as a nation (and English people) need to try this year is following women’s sport. Continue reading “England Should Embrace Women’s Sport”
