If you haven’t seen it yet, I thoroughly recommend you take a look at Ice Cross Downhill, it is well worth a watch. It is one of the single most exciting sports I have ever seen. In a battle of bravery, six competitors race down an ice track on nothing but skates. It is utter mayhem!

The second in the 2015/16 Red Bull Crashed Ice series has just taken place in Munich and I did not disappoint with some EPIC crashes. In the end team ‘URNL’ from the USA sailed to victory with their skaters taking 1st, 2nd and 4th place over the ‘Ice crew’ made up of competitors from Germany, Switzerland and Canada.
Unsurprisingly the countries with the larger ice hockey following produced more successful athletes, Cameron Nassz (USA), Scott Croxall (Canada) and Dean Moriarity (Canada) make up the top three rankings in the men’s division, whilst Myriam Trepanier, Jacqueline Legere, Maxie Plante and Elaine Topolnisky all from Canada make up the top four highest ranking females.
With two event left, and in such an unpredictable sport, who knows what could happen to the rankings, but one things for sure, I know I’ll be watching to find out.
The final events take place in Finland on the 29th/30th January and the USA on the 26th/27th February.
This is definitely a sport well worth watching!
