My ignorant opinion is an amateur sports blog we write in our spare time. We’re not experts, professional players or pundits, as the content of the site will show you. We’re just sports fans who like to talk about sport – usually from a position of ignorance.

Adam Shirley

Hi, I’m Adam, actually that’s weird, only my family call me Adam. I’m Shirley. I’m into sports, mostly Football and Rugby, though I’m by no means an expert on them. Currently, I write part-time for this blog and also for the gaming/comics/geek culture site streakingeek.com, having just completed my MA in Modern History at Swansea University.

My teams: Arsenal F.C., Commonwealth Games England, England National Football Team, England Rugby, Harlequins R.F.C., Team Great Britain.

Martin Lee

I’m Martin, but people call me Kato. I’m into a range of sports including snowboarding and skiing, Football, Rugby and Martial arts. I am a Kick Boxing instructor, but also enjoy trying new martial arts to broaden my horizons. In the winter, I enjoy skiing and snowboarding (when I can afford it) although I often end up jumping off something big and landing on my arse. I’m currently studying towards an MRes in Biosciences from Swansea University which is where I met Shirley.
